Today, across the globe, we celebrate International Mother Language Day. This holiday aims to remind us of the value and importance of language, especially poignant for Ukrainians today. Our language is our weapon, our genetic code of the nation. It carries invaluable knowledge and values, which are passed down from generation to generation. For centuries, they tried to eradicate our native language, destroy it and with it, us, but we stand firm, and continue the fight for the Ukrainian word to sound loudly in all parts of our country. Let the native word unite and give strength in the fight!
