The “Pli-o-plich All-Ukrainian School Leagues” volleyball competitions, second territorial stage, took place from February 10-14, 2025, among students of general secondary education institutions in the Romny territorial community. These exciting events showcased the athletic talents of young volleyball players.

The volleyball tournament for boys in grades 9-11 took place on February 10, 2025. Ten teams from educational institutions (103 students) participated, including teams from Bilovodsk, Velykobubnivsk, Pustoviitivsk, Mykolaivsk, Romny Secondary Schools № 5, 7, 10, 11, and Romny Lyceums №2 and 4. The competition highlighted the dedication and skill of the young athletes.

The team from Bilovodsk Secondary School I-III degrees won first place in the competition. The team demonstrated outstanding performance and teamwork throughout the tournament.

Romny Lyceum № 2 named after Academician A.F. Ioffe took second place, showing great competitive spirit. Their performance was a highlight of the tournament.

Romny Secondary School I-III degrees № 5 secured the third position, demonstrating consistent performance. Their effort earned them a well-deserved place among the top teams.

On February 11, 2025, the volleyball competitions for boys in grades 5-9 were held with 4 teams from secondary schools (29 students) participating. The matches were intense, and the results were as follows:

First place went to the team from Romny Lyceum № 1 named after P.I. Kalnyshevsky. Their victory was a testament to their training and dedication.

Romny Secondary School I-III degrees № 10 secured second place. Their performance was consistently strong throughout the tournament.

The team from Romny Secondary School I-II degrees № 6 took third place, showcasing their volleyball skills. Their participation added to the excitement of the event.

The volleyball players from Pustoviitivsk Secondary School were fourth, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship.

On February 13, 2025, the girls in grades 9-11 competed. Eight teams from educational institutions (75 students) participated: teams from Velykobubnivsk, Mykolaivsk, Pustoviitivsk, Romny Secondary Schools № 5, 7, 10, 11, and Romny Lyceum № 1 named after P.I. Kalnyshevsky. The competition among the girls was highly anticipated.

The games for the top spots were very tense and emotional. The players displayed determination and skill throughout.

In the final standings, the team from Romny Secondary School I-III degrees № 10 won first place, exhibiting impressive gameplay. Their victory was a result of hard work and teamwork.

Romny Lyceum № 1 named after P.I. Kalnyshevsky took second place, showcasing their competitive spirit and skill. Their performance was a highlight of the event.

The team from Mykolaivsk Secondary School I-III degrees took third place, demonstrating great skill. Their performance was a key element of the tournament.

On February 14, 2025, the volleyball players in grades 5-9 competed (4 teams, 36 students): the team from Romny Lyceum № 1 named after P.I. Kalnyshevsky of Romny City Council of Sumy Oblast, the team from Romny Secondary School I-III degrees № 10 of Romny City Council of Sumy Oblast, the team from Bilovodsk Secondary School I-III degrees of Romny City Council of Sumy Oblast, and the team from Mykolaivsk Secondary School I-III degrees of Romny City Council of Sumy Oblast.

The results of the competitions were as follows: the team from Mykolaivsk Secondary School I-III degrees won first place, displaying remarkable skill. Their performance was a true highlight.

Romny Lyceum № 1 named after P.I. Kalnyshevsky secured second place, exhibiting strong skills and competitive play. Their performance was a key element of the tournament.

The team from Bilovodsk Secondary School I-III degrees took third place. Their performance was consistently strong and added excitement to the event.

The volleyball players from Romny Secondary School № 10 were fourth. Their participation was appreciated.

The young volleyball players showcased their athletic skills, endurance, and determination to win. Congratulations to the teams and best wishes for new sports victories in the next stages of the competitions!
