Lokhvytsia City Council Holds 68th Extraordinary Session

Today, February 21, the 68th extraordinary session of the Lokhvytsia City Council of the 8th convocation took place under the chairmanship of Mayor Viktor Radko. The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Anatoliy Lakhach, Secretary of the Lokhvytsia City Council Tetyana Datsenko, Head of Affairs of the Executive Committee of the Lokhvytsia City Council Leonid Vereskun, deputies, Head of the second department of the Myrhorod RV of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region, Police Major Oleksandr Melashenko, Head of the 9th DPRCh of the 5th DPRZ of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region Viktor Pekhteriev, heads and leading specialists of the departments of the Executive Committee of the Lokhvytsia City Council, and starostas.

Those present in the meeting hall honored the memory of 62 of our warrior-compatriots and all Defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom of our country in the fight against Russian occupiers with a minute of silence.

The deputies reviewed and supported all the issues on the agenda. In particular, they supported the establishment of a monthly allowance for pedagogical workers of preschool and extracurricular education institutions of the Lokhvytsia City Council for work in unfavorable working conditions in 2025 and the free transfer of property for the period of martial law in Ukraine. In addition, they unanimously approved the decision of the Executive Committee of the Lokhvytsia City Council dated December 27, 2024 No. 359 (subvention for the food of primary school students in 2024), the decision of the Executive Committee of the Lokhvytsia City Council dated December 31, 2024 No. 382 (reduction of the NUS subvention in 2024) and the report on the execution of the budget of the Lokhvytsia city territorial community for 2024.

The deputies supported the issue of providing a subvention from the budget of the Lokhvytsia city territorial community to the state budget for military units in 2025, allocating funds for the measures of the Comprehensive Program of Support and Social Protection of War Veterans, Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, members of the families of the deceased (deceased) war veterans and Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine of the Lokhvytsia community in 2025 in 2025. They approved the provision of a subvention from the budget of the Lokhvytsia city territorial community in 2025 to the state budget for the purchase of equipment and fuel for police officers of the community, as well as the provision of a subvention from the budget of the Lokhvytsia city territorial community in 2025 to the state budget for the 9th DPRCh of the 5th DPRZ of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region.

Also, during the session, the issue of providing a subvention to the state budget for police department No. 2 of the Myrhorod RV of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region in 2025 was included in the agenda.
