Buchach’s Accessibility Council: Creating a Barrier-Free City

Відбулося перше засідання Ради безбар’єрності при виконавчому комітеті Бучацької міської ради. До складу Ради увійшли представники органів місцевого самоврядування, депутати міської ради, представники комунальних установ та громадських організацій.

Відділом архітектури та містобудування були представлені презентаційні матеріали безбар’єрного маршруту Бучача, де показано в якому напрямку рухатись, які проблеми слід вирішити та що потрібно зробити для безбар’єрності в нашому місті.

В ході роботи було обговорено конкретні механізми впровадження безбар’єрного простору, адже це, передусім, повага до потреб кожної людини.

Рада безбар’єрності створена з метою пошуку ефективних, дієвих рішень адаптованих до конкретних умов і потреб у контексті реалізації Національної стратегії із створення простору в Україні, із залученням фахівців із життєвим досвідом подолання бар’єрів для себе та інших людей, напрацювання та реалізації концептуальних та операційних документів щодо системного впровадження конкретних заходів на території Бучацької міської територіальної громади, щоб формувати безбар’єрний простір, враховуючи потреби різних людей, створюючи умови життя комфортні для всіх, прибираючи бар’єри та обмеження.

The first meeting of the Accessibility Council at the Executive Committee of the Buchach City Council took place. The Council included representatives of local self-government bodies, deputies of the city council, representatives of utility institutions and public organizations.

The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning presented presentation materials of the barrier-free route of Buchach, which showed in which direction to move, what problems should be solved and what needs to be done for barrier-free in our city.

During the work, specific mechanisms for the implementation of a barrier-free space were discussed, because it is, first of all, respect for the needs of each person.

The Accessibility Council was created to search for effective, effective solutions adapted to specific conditions and needs in the context of the implementation of the National Strategy for creating space in Ukraine, with the involvement of specialists with life experience in overcoming barriers for themselves and other people, the development and implementation of conceptual and operational documents for the systematic implementation of specific measures on the territory of the Buchach city territorial community, in order to form a barrier-free space, taking into account the needs of different people, creating living conditions comfortable for everyone, removing barriers and restrictions.
