French parliamentarian Frederic Petit pays a visit to the Chernihiv region. From the outset of the full-scale invasion, Mr. Petit has been one of the most active supporters of Ukraine in the French National Assembly. He regularly visits the region to study the situation and needs of the region. Today during a meeting with Frederic Petit, the First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Konstantin Megem and the National Deputy of Ukraine Serhiy Hrivko discussed establishing horizontal connections between the communities of the Chernihiv region and France, attracting French investments — in particular with the use of industrial parks and priority needs in reconstruction. Konstantin Mehem expressed hope for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation and thanked for the significant assistance already provided by France for the reconstruction of the region. In the framework of the visit, Frederic Petit also inspected the Chernihiv Drama Theatre, which has been restored with the support of French partners.
