🕯️ With deep sorrow, we once again met and bid farewell to our Defender today… Another devoted heart, which passionately loved its country, stopped from the unbearable burden of war.

◾️ February 15, 2025, in the village of Bilyi Kolodyaz, Kharkiv region, our compatriot, Senior Operator of the Platoon of Anti-Tank Missile Systems of the Fire Support Company of the Rifle Battalion, Senior Soldier BLAZHEYEVSKYI Oleksandr Vyacheslavovych, passed away. He was only 54 years old…

Oleksandr’s life path was firmly intertwined with his native land. He was born on August 9, 1970, in the picturesque village of Ivankivtsi, where his childhood years were spent. He received his basic secondary education at the Ivankivtsi school, which he graduated in 1985. He began his professional path by obtaining the profession of a carpenter at the Kamianets-Podilskyi construction technical school. Later, he worked in a construction team of the local collective farm.

◾️ In 1989, he honorably fulfilled his civic duty by completing his military service in the Ukrainian army. Returning home, he continued his work in his native village. He worked at LLC “Dunayivetskyi Maslozavod”.

A fateful meeting with Neonila in 1995 was life-changing – she became his faithful wife. The couple created a strong family and raised a son. In recent years of his peaceful life, Oleksandr dedicated himself to working as a stoker in the central boiler room of the city at LLC “Teploservis”.

In April 2023, returning from work, Oleksandr received a summons. Without hesitation, he left his family and peaceful life to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders. He gave all his strength to stop the enemy so that our community and all of Ukraine could live in peace.

◾️ Having passed through the hell of hostilities, the brave Warrior suffered numerous injuries, repeatedly underwent treatment, but invariably returned to fulfill his duty. For selfless service, he was awarded by the military unit.

🕯️ But, alas, the brave heart of the Hero stopped beating. Today, he returned for the last time to his native threshold, to his native village. Instead of a joyful meeting with loved ones – tears, pain, and unspeakable sadness.

Without support remained his beloved wife, without a father’s shoulder – his son. Without a son’s care – grief-stricken parents who lost their only child in this cruel war.

🥀 A sea of flowers, a “living corridor” on the roadsides of the city and his native village, Ukrainian flags, unspeakable grief, pain, and despair from the loss overwhelm each of us. Shaking the sky with volleys from military shots, singing the State Anthem of Ukraine, relatives, friends, and residents of the community said goodbye to the Defender.

🙏 Dear family! Please accept our deepest condolences at this bitter hour. May the Lord grant you strength to endure this unbearable loss. May the memory of the Defender of Ukraine Oleksandr be good and bright. May it be easy for him there, in the better worlds, among his brothers in arms.
