On the grounds of the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called, guests were greeted by Dmytro Gapchenko, the Head of Affairs of the Bucha City Council. During the meeting, he provided a detailed account of the tragic events of the Russian occupation and the atrocities committed by the occupiers in the Bucha community. Kateryna Denysenko, Head of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, presented photo and video evidence to the Swiss parliamentarians, documenting the зверства of the Russian invaders against the civilian population. "It is impossible to comprehend the scale of the tragedy and brutality. The world must remember these terrible events and do everything possible to ensure they never happen again," emphasized Cedric Wermuth, a member of the Swiss National Council. The guests honored the memory of innocent victims near the installation of the memorial to the 509 civilians killed and paid tribute to our defenders on the Alley of Heroes.
