Спільна зустріч із президентами Євроради і Єврокомісії та Генсеком НАТО – Антоніу Коштою, Урсулою фон дер Ляєн і Марком Рютте. Працюємо над єдністю всіх союзників.

Сфокусувалися на співпраці в межах нового оборонного інструменту SAFE та переговорному процесі щодо нашого вступу до ЄС. Важливо, щоб лідери держав-членів досягли спільного рішення щодо відкриття першого кластера. Це несправедливо, коли хтось один блокує рішення Союзу.

Також детально обговорили додаткові санкції проти РФ і підготовку 18-го санкційного пакету ЄС. Важливо, щоб цей пакет відчутно посилив тиск на російський енергетичний і банківський сектори, тіньовий флот. Ключове в цьому – має бути сильний прайскеп на російську нафту, і ми розраховуємо на відповідні рішення.

I had a joint meeting with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, and the NATO Secretary General — António Costa, Ursula von der Leyen, and Mark Rutte. We are working to ensure unity among all our allies.

We focused on cooperation within the new defense instrument SAFE and the negotiation process on our accession to the EU. It is important that the leaders of the member states reach a common decision to open the first negotiation cluster. It is unfair when a single party blocks the Union’s decision.

We also discussed in detail additional sanctions against the Russian Federation and the preparation of the EU’s 18th sanctions package. This package must significantly increase pressure on Russia’s energy and banking sectors, as well as on the shadow fleet. The key element here must be a strong price cap on Russian oil, and we count on the appropriate decisions.
