Today marks the first anniversary of the passing of Volodymyr Dzhereruk, who died defending Ukraine. Volodymyr resided in the village of Karabelivka. He was mobilized into the army on March 3, 2023. He served as a shooter-assistant grenade thrower in the 1st mechanized department, the 2nd mechanized platoon, and the 2nd mechanized company of military unit A0243. He had the military callsign Jerry. From February to November 2024, he was considered missing. When Ukraine managed to return the bodies of the fallen defenders, Volodymyr’s body was among them. He died on February 22, 2024, near the village of Lastochkino, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region, while performing a combat mission to protect the Motherland from Russian invaders. His life became another painful reminder of the price of our freedom. Thanks to his sacrifice and thousands of fallen warriors, we remain alive and with the Ukrainian state. The warrior is forever 47… The entire Teplitsky community is in mourning and prayer, bowing our heads, honoring the memory of Volodymyr Seraphimovich Dzhereruk. Human life is priceless, the soul is immortal, and the memory of the Hero is ETERNAL. Let’s remember this today, tomorrow, always…
