📌 Today in Zhytomyr, the annual youth quest “Day of Victory” was held, commemorating the 107th anniversary of the liberation of Zhytomyr from the Bolshevik invaders.

💬 “We are holding this event for the fifth time, and with each passing year, it becomes more and more large-scale. It is important for us that young people know the history of their city and are actively involved in patriotic initiatives,” stated Kateryna Lozynska, director of the Plast Youth Center.

☝️ The quest comprised 17 interactive locations situated in the central part of the city. Teams received a map and followed a route, performing historical tasks by scanning QR codes at each stop.

🖇️ Representatives from the Zhytomyr organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine also participated in the event, providing two practical stations:

• Training in first medical aid – schoolchildren learned to provide assistance in emergency situations.
• Psychosocial support – participants could engage in special exercises to relieve stress.

🙌🏻 A total of 20 teams from Zhytomyr schools, along with representatives from the “Plast” organization – 120 people in total – took part in the quest.
