Сьогодні я говорив із Прем’єр-міністром, з міністрами фінансів та освіти, з командою Офісу, були ґрунтовні розмови з нашими військовими. Ми готові зробити кілька відчутних кроків.

Перше: воєнний час, багато складнощів, усім дуже непросто – і в тому числі в контексті вступу до вищих навчальних закладів. Тому я доручив уряду спростити умови вступу до українських вишів.

Друге : я доручив уряду разом з військовими опрацювати спрощення перетину державного кордону для молодих українців. На цей час є обмеження: 18 років на кордоні, я пропоную підвищити рівень до 22 років. Щоб не було обмежень при перетині. Я вважаю, що це позитивна історія, і допоможе багатьом молодим українцям зберегти зв’язки з Україною та реалізуватись в Україні – передусім у навчанні.

І третє: домовились із Прем’єр-міністром та з міністром фінансів, щоб з наступного року пропрацювати збільшення стипендій. Розраховуємо, що передбачимо на це ресурс. І вже зараз ми будемо збільшувати підтримку для всіх, хто має значні результати в навчанні, будемо заохочувати досягати більших академічних результатів.

Найкраще в День молоді – саме така конкретика, яка дає відповіді на питання молоді. Очікую, що урядовці представлять усі деталі суспільству протягом 10 днів.

Today, I spoke with the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Finance and Education, and the Office team, and had in-depth discussions with our military. We are ready to take several tangible steps.

First – this is wartime, there are many difficulties, and it is a very challenging period for everyone, including in the context of admission to higher education institutions. Therefore, I have instructed the Government to simplify the admission requirements for Ukrainian universities.

Second – I have instructed the Government, together with the military, to work on simplifying border crossing for young Ukrainians. Currently, there is an age cap of 18 at the border, and I propose raising it to 22. So that there are no restrictions on crossing. I believe this is a positive step that will help many young Ukrainians maintain ties with Ukraine and fulfill their potential in Ukraine, primarily in education.

And third – we agreed with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance to work on increasing scholarships starting next year. We expect to allocate resources for this. And already now, we will increase support for all those who achieve significant results in their studies, encouraging them to reach even greater academic achievements.

The best way to mark Youth Day is with such concrete actions that provide answers to the questions of young people. I expect government officials to present all the details to the public within 10 days.
