Yuzhny Honors Ukrainian Defenders with New Memorial Constructions
🕯️ In Yuzhny, New Memorial Constructions Unveiled on the Memory Esplanade
Today, on the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, three new memorial constructions featuring photographs of Ukrainian defenders have been installed on the Memory Esplanade of the city of Yuzhny. This solemn event serves as a poignant tribute to the heroes who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 1096 days have passed, forever changing the lives of every Ukrainian. During this time, our community has lost its courageous sons who gave the most precious thing – their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. The memory of their bravery and sacrifice is now permanently etched into the heart of Yuzhny.
The new memorial constructions immortalize the memory of Denis BORDYUZHA, Igor MARKOVSKY, Mikhail TSAPA, Sergey GNEUSHEV, Timur ILYIN, Andrey ANDROSOVICH, Konstantin ZABOLOTNY, and Dmitry ZORIN. Each of them died on different sections of the front – in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kursk regions. Their names are now symbols of the ultimate sacrifice.
During the ceremony, those present honored the bright memory of the fallen defenders with a minute of silence. This act of remembrance underscored the deep respect and sorrow felt by the community. The unveiling of the memorials is a testament to the enduring legacy of these heroes.
Eternal memory to the Heroes who, at the cost of their own lives, defend our peaceful tomorrow. Their valor and dedication will continue to inspire generations.
These memorials are a place for reflection, remembrance, and respect. They stand as a reminder of the immense cost of freedom and the unwavering spirit of the Ukrainian people. The city of Yuzhny, and indeed the entire nation, will forever be grateful for their sacrifice.
