On February 6, 2025, an extraordinary meeting of the local commission for technogenic-ecological safety and emergency situations (TES and ES) of the Kutska settlement council took place.

The commission was convened due to an incident of significant public concern that poses a potential environmental threat to the environment and the local population. This event highlights the urgent need for action and underscores the council’s commitment to environmental protection.

The TES and ES meeting was convened to prevent the negative consequences caused by the extraction of gravel-sand mixture by TZOV “Bacha” at a water body site. The council proactively addressed the issue to mitigate potential damage and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.

Participants in the meeting included members of the commission, employees of the Kutska settlement council, and invited representatives from various key organizations. The diverse group brought a range of expertise to the table, facilitating a comprehensive discussion and effective problem-solving. The following organizations were represented:

During the commission meeting, an on-site discussion was held to address the aforementioned problem and potential solutions. This allowed for a firsthand assessment of the situation and facilitated a collaborative approach to resolving the issue. The participants engaged in open dialogue, sharing insights and working together to find the most effective strategies to mitigate the environmental risks.
