The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1096 days, bringing sorrow, suffering, and death. We mourn the loss of our loved ones – husbands, sons, brothers, and children.

Today marks the second anniversary of the death of a warrior – a defender, our fellow villager, Vyacheslav Chernenko.

On February 23, 2023, he was taken from us. His final battle against the Russian invaders took place near the village of Vodyane, in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region.

Vyacheslav was always smiling, positive, and friendly. This is how his family and friends remember him.

It is deeply saddening that time cannot be turned back to a peaceful life and a happy future. It is painful that Vyacheslav will not walk the familiar paths of his youth, nor will he step on the threshold of his home. It is heartbreaking that the accursed war decided his fate differently… It is a tragedy… WE BOW LOW TO YOU, Vyacheslav, for the peaceful morning in our community, for UKRAINE!

LET US REMEMBER IN SORROW! LET US PRAY! LET US GIVE THANKS FOR DEDICATION AND LOYALTY TO THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE!
