Днями з гуманітарної поїздки до США повернулися діти полеглих Героїв із Сумщини, серед яких і діти з Конотопського району. Серед учасників цієї важливої програми — Крістіна Толстопятих і Сергій Мисенко з Кролевеччини. Для громади це наші діти, якій світ простягнув руку підтримки 🇺🇸🇺🇦
Поїздка до міста Атланта (штат Джорджія) стала для дітей можливістю бодай на мить відчути турботу, безпеку й щиру людську увагу. Проживання в родинах української діаспори, знайомство з культурою США, музеї, акваріум, Капітолій, спортивні події, табір активностей — усе це залишило теплі спогади, які, підтримуватимуть їх і надалі.
Особливо зворушують слова самих дітей. Своїми враженнями поділилася Крістіна:
«Ця поїздка подарувала мені багато радості й теплих емоцій. Я побувала в іншій країні, познайомилася з дуже добрими та привітними людьми, знайшла нових подружок. Мені було дуже приємно відчути турботу й підтримку. Я завжди пам’ятатиму цей час».
Щиро дякуємо американській фундації Together Ministry, Сумській Християнській Церкві та Сумській обласній військовій адміністрації за реалізацію цієї програми. Такі ініціативи — це прояв міжнародної солідарності, людяності й глибокої поваги до подвигу українських Героїв.
Ми зобов’язані робити все, аби діти наших Захисників знали: вони не залишилися сам на сам зі своїм болем. Громада поруч. Україна поруч. Світ поруч 🇺🇦🤝

​SUPPORT FELT IN THE HEART
​Recently, children of fallen Heroes from the Sumy region, including those from the Konotop district, returned from a humanitarian trip to the USA. Among the participants of this vital programme were Kristina Tolstopiatykh and Serhii Mysenko from the Krolevets region. For our community, these are our children, to whom the world has extended a hand of support. 🇺🇸🇺🇦
​The trip to Atlanta, Georgia, provided the children with an opportunity to experience, if only for a moment, care, safety, and genuine human kindness. Staying with Ukrainian diaspora families, discovering American culture, visiting museums, the aquarium, the Capitol, attending sporting events, and an activity camp — all of this has left warm memories that will continue to sustain them in the future.
​The words of the children themselves are particularly moving. Kristina shared her impressions:
​”This trip gave me so much joy and warm emotions. I visited another country, met very kind and welcoming people, and made new friends. It was so lovely to feel the care and support. I will always remember this time.”
​We express our sincere gratitude to the American foundation Together Ministry, the Sumy Christian Church, and the Sumy Regional Military Administration for making this programme a reality. Such initiatives are a profound demonstration of international solidarity, humanity, and deep respect for the sacrifice of Ukrainian Heroes.
​It is our duty to ensure that the children of our Defenders know they are not alone in their grief. The community is by their side. Ukraine is by their side. The world is by their side. 🇺🇦🤝
