Сьогодні день основи нашої української армії – день піхотинців. Саме український воїн-піхотинець тримає на собі наші фронтові позиції. Зараз, у травні, наше військове командування та Міністерство оборони, наш уряд впроваджують нові кроки, які дозволять Україні посилити піхотинців і нашу армію загалом. Це більш сильні контракти для піхотинців, більш відчутний фінансовий ресурс, більше постачання всього необхідного обладнання, від FPV до НРК, а головне, це значно більша увага держави до піхоти.

Памʼятаємо, що кожен бій, який витримав наш піхотинець, – це сила для нашої української держави. І памʼятаємо, що позиції нашої піхоти в цій війні – це кров та біль, сміливість та гордість наших людей, які бʼються заради України та віддають своє життя заради України. Шануємо памʼять усіх наших полеглих воїнів.

Today we celebrate Infantry Day, the bedrock of our Ukrainian army. It is the Ukrainian infantryman who is holding our frontline positions. Right now, in May, our military command and the Ministry of Defense, our Government, are introducing new steps that will enable Ukraine to strengthen infantrymen and our army as a whole. These include stronger contracts for infantrymen, more substantial financial resources, greater supplies of all necessary equipment – from FPVs to UGVs – and, most importantly, significantly greater attention from the state to the infantry.

We remember that every battle our infantryman has endured adds strength to our Ukrainian state. And we remember that the positions of our infantry in this war are the blood and pain, the courage and pride of our people who fight for Ukraine and give their lives for Ukraine. We honor the memory of all our fallen warriors.
