Andrushivka City Council Session: Honoring Heroes and Addressing Key Issues

On January 29th, the 55th session of the Andrushivka City Council of the eighth convocation took place. Following the national anthem of Ukraine, those present observed a minute of silence to honor all those who have fallen at the hands of the Russian aggressor. This solemn moment underscored the gravity of the situation and the community’s deep respect for the sacrifices made.

Before the commencement of the agenda items, Mayor Halyna BILETSKA, together with the head of the first department of the Berdychiv District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Lieutenant Colonel Andriy BESPALOV, presented state awards to servicemen of our community. This gesture highlighted the city’s commitment to acknowledging and supporting those who serve.

  • Soldier in retirement Vyacheslav Rudyuk was awarded the medal “For Injury”.
  • Senior soldier Ruslan Novitsky (posthumously) was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree.
  • Soldier Maksym Dovgy (posthumously) was awarded the breastplate “Sign of Honor”.
  • Sergeant Viktor Studzinsky (posthumously) was awarded the breastplate “Combatant Cross”.
  • Soldier Mykhailo Skibchyk was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree

The families of the fallen Heroes accepted the awards on their behalf, a poignant moment of remembrance and respect. These awards recognize the bravery and sacrifice of the individuals who served their country.

Seventeen deputies participated in the session’s work, demonstrating a strong level of representation and engagement from the local government.

The session was also attended by heads of communal institutions and enterprises, as well as the executive bodies of the city council, and the starosta of the community’s starosty districts. This broad participation ensured diverse perspectives and collaborative decision-making.

The agenda consisted of 49 items. Appropriate decisions were made on all issues. The high number of items on the agenda reflects the wide range of matters addressed by the council, from local services to community development.
