The day after the 39th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 the Dogs of Chernobyl team set up a spay and neuter clinic for dogs and cats in the psychological center in Slavutych, Ukraine. It will be a three day campaign. We have just finished our first day with 47 animals sterilized. We accomplish this with two amazing veterinary surgeons and an extreme amount of general volunteers from the public. A lot of them had never done anything like this before and were trained and did a wonderful job. We are extremely grateful for all the help we had yesterday. Let’s do it again today. more pictures to follow. We were incredibly busy yesterday and didn’t have time to take a whole lot of photos.
