📢 #ReBuildUkraine: Schools in Lviv and Chortkiv to be NZEB-upgraded with Norwegian support

We’re pleased to announce the signing of two new grant agreements under Nefco’s Green Recovery Programme for Ukraine, supporting the reconstruction of educational facilities in Lviv and Chortkiv in line with the Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) approach.

🏫 In Lviv, Oriyana Lyceum will be rehabilitated following damage from a missile attack, with modern energy-efficient upgrades and renewable energy installations.

🏫 In Chortkiv, Bila Secondary School will undergo deep renovation, including geothermal heating and solar power, creating a safer and more sustainable learning environment.

These projects are made possible through generous support from Norad, with co-financing from Chortkiv City Council and Lviv City Council. They are part of a broader programme to demonstrate NZEB standards across Ukraine. The signings took place at the ReBuild Ukraine conference in Warsaw, Poland on 13 November 2025.
