I had a meeting with representatives of the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Canada, and the Netherlands to NATO and praised their countries’ contributions to our defense.

We are grateful to Germany for the Patriot systems, to the United States for the opportunity to purchase weapons and air defense systems through the PURL initiative, to the United Kingdom and France for the missiles, to Canada and the Netherlands for their contributions to the PURL initiative, and to all other countries for their assistance. This support truly saves lives of our people, and it is very important that new countries join the initiative.

We discussed opportunities to strengthen the protection of our energy system ahead of winter: the purchase of air defense systems and missiles for them, as well as the reinforcement of our tactical aviation. We also discussed the importance of maintaining sanctions against Russia and other key pressure points to compel it to end the war.
