Мир в Україні – це спільне завдання, що вимагає зусиль не лише від політиків на національному рівні, але й від кожного з нас. Щоб досягти миру в Україні, потрібна правда, яку лідери міст та громадські діячі можуть донести до своїх спільнот. Важливо, щоб політичні ініціативи, спрямовані на встановлення миру в Україні, отримували підтримку на рівні місцевого самоврядування. Нам необхідно, щоб міста та громади об’єднувалися та підтримували одне одного заради досягнення спільної мети – миру в Україні. Про це було наголошено під час відкриття ІІІ Міжнародного саміту міст і регіонів.

Підтримуйте всі зусилля, спрямовані на здійснення справедливого тиску на Росію – підтримуйте дипломатичні, політичні та економічні ініціативи. Кожен внесок наближає мир в Україні.

Нам потрібна рішучість на всіх рівнях. Чим більше міст і громад відкрито висловлюють свою позицію, тим краще. Рішучість потрібна для того, щоб ніхто й ніколи не наважився повторити злочини, які росіяни вчиняють проти України, і щоб Росія була змушена шукати шляхи до миру в Україні.

Будь ласка, допомагайте нам не лише у підтримці стійкості, але й у політичній діяльності заради миру в Україні. Це надзвичайно важливо для майбутнього нашої країни. Тільки разом ми зможемо досягти миру в Україні.

Peace is a task not only for national-level politicians. We need the truth that mayors and community leaders can convey to their people. We need political work for peace to be supported at the level of local self-government as well. We need cities and communities to be able to support one another.
