Хороша зустріч із Президенткою Європейської комісії Урсулою фон дер Ляєн. Говорили про кроки, які допоможуть захистити життя українців, повернути безпеку й наблизити безумовне припинення вогню. Обговорили зміцнення співпраці між Україною та ЄС, зокрема через ініціативу ReArm Europe.

Окрему увагу приділили підготовці 17-го пакету санкцій ЄС. Важливо, щоб він був спрямований на ключові сектори російської економіки і став одним з елементів тиску на Росію задля відновлення миру.

I had a good meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. We discussed steps that will help protect the lives of Ukrainians, restore security, and bring us closer to an unconditional ceasefire. We also talked about strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, particularly through the ReArm Europe initiative.

Special attention was given to the preparation of the EU’s 17th sanctions package. It is crucial that this package targets key sectors of the Russian economy and serves as one of the elements of pressure on Russia to restore peace.
