🇺🇦 Сумщина: стійкість, відновлення, європейське майбутнє

Сумщина щодня бореться за тепло і світло.
Попри постійні спроби ворога занурити наші міста в темряву й холод – ми тримаємось.

Ми долаємо ці випробування завдяки нашим оборонцям, незламним людям і міжнародним партнерам, які поруч із нами: підтримують, додають упевненості й вселяють віру в майбутнє.

Ворог не зупиняється. А ми не здаємось – продовжуємо боротьбу разом із цивілізованим світом.

Саме ця єдність стала головним сенсом міжнародної конференції «Стійкість та європейське майбутнє Сумської області», яку ми провели спільно з Міністерством закордонних справ України цієї осені.

• Вперше Сумщина презентувала себе на міжнародному рівні як регіон, що тримає оборону і водночас формує стратегію розвитку.

☝🏻Про виклики й рішення прикордонного регіону ми говоримо безпосередньо з урядом і міжнародними партнерами. Це крок від слів до конкретних дій.

На Сумщині сьогодні живе близько мільйона людей. Серед них – місцеві мешканці, внутрішньо переміщені особи, родини військових, ветерани, ті, хто втратив дім, але не втратив віру.

Люди залишаються вдома, будують життя і потребують рішень, адаптованих до нової реальності – до змін, які принесла війна.

🔘Суми, Тростянець, Шостка, Конотоп – кожна з цих громад має свій досвід війни й відновлення, свій біль і свою силу.

На конференції вони презентували не просто плани, а рішення, що потрібні людям уже сьогодні – реабілітаційні та медичні центри, ветеранські простори, оновлені освітні й міські середовища.

Ми змінюємося і трансформуємося разом із нашим суспільством, реагуємо та створюємо проєкти, що відповідають реальним людським потребам.

🇺🇦Сумщина – це північний щит України та Європи. Ми стоїмо на межі, яку ворог намагається прорвати, але водночас будуємо сучасну екосистему стійкості – щоб громади були не лише захищеними, а й розвиненими та комфортними для життя.

The Sumy region is in a daily struggle for heat and light.

Despite the enemy’s continuous efforts to immerse our cities in darkness and cold, we are holding strong.

We are overcoming these challenges thanks to our defenders, the resilience of our people, and our international partners who stand by us: providing support, boosting our confidence, and instilling faith in the future.

The enemy will not cease its attacks. And we will not yield – we continue the fight alongside the civilized world.

This very unity became the main focus of The International Conference «Resilience and the European future of Sumy Region», which we held in Kyiv in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, became a milestone event for our region – a declaration of strength, unity, and vision for the future.

For the first time, Sumy Region presented itself to the world as a territory that not only stands firm in defense but also boldly shapes its path of recovery and growth.

We speak directly and openly with the government and international partners about the challenges and solutions of a frontline region. These conversations mark a transition – from words to real, decisive actions.

Today, nearly one million people call Sumy Region home – local residents, internally displaced families, veterans, defenders, and those who have lost everything except their courage and faith.

People remain on their land, rebuild their lives, and seek solutions adapted to the new reality – to the changes caused by the war.

Sumy, Trostianets, Shostka, Konotop – each of these communities bears its own scars of war and shines with its own resilience and determination.

At the Conference, they presented not just visions for the future, but solutions that people need right now – rehabilitation and medical centers, veteran hubs, renewed educational and urban environments.

We are transforming together with our society – listening, responding, and creating projects that address real human needs.

Sumy Region stands as the northern shield of Ukraine and Europe – steadfast on the frontier the enemy seeks to breach. Yet, even under threat, we are building a new ecosystem of resilience where communities are not only defended, but also developed and have comfortable living conditions.
