“The school meals reform has been completed in 124 schools in our region. This work was carried out over the past five years – the reform of school nutrition began. Modernization will continue in 2026. We are now implementing projects that are not yet being realized. The quality of our cooks is increasing. We are working with modern technologies and preparing according to new standards. Such courses are attended by 300-400 specialists.

Currently, more than 150,000 students in the region receive hot meals daily. This nutrition is served in 77% of educational institutions – all those who work in a full-time or mixed format.

Today is the International School Meals Day. Ukraine is changing its approach to school meals thanks to the reform initiated by Olena Zelenska. This reform is not just about a new menu – it’s about useful and tasty food. It’s about the health that children gain from a young age.
