The XI territorial festival of children’s theaters of educational institutions “Visiting Melpomene” took place within the framework of the celebration in 2025 – the Year of Extracurricular Activities and the Day of Ukrainian Literature and Language.

Before the start of the competition program, those present honored a minute of silence for the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, the fallen soldiers and thanked with applause the defenders for the opportunity to study, communicate, and develop in creativity. Festival participants: the “Acting Workshop” circle and the “First Step” children’s theater of the KPNZ DODYUK “Vesnyanka”, head Svitlana Beynyk, director Oleksandr Kuchma; theater circle “Children of Ukraine” of the Shandrivsky Lyceum of the Pereshchepyne City Council, head Yulia Lytvyshko, director Lidia Polovinko; the “Youth Theater” circle of KZPO TsDYUT, head Svitlana Beynyk, director Inna Maystrenko, through play, the art of transformation, expressed their attitude towards good and evil, showing how organically they can feel the world with their mind and heart. The head of the jury, the head of the education department of the Pereshchepyne City Council, Nina Pogorila, members of the jury: director of TsDYUT Inna Maystrenko, former students of the Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity, theater actress Albina But, puppet theater actress, head of the children’s theater group, now a student of the Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television named after Ivan Karpenko-Kary for the specialty “Organization of Theater Affairs and Production” – Lilia Semenets, theater and film actor Vladyslav Goncharov, head of the circle – methodologist Svitlana Beynyk did not restrain emotions, did not spare words of admiration for the play of young theatergoers, and therefore decided to determine the winners in the nomination “Best theater collective” of all participants of the festival. After all, the theater is a place of miracles. We thank the team of like-minded people for the successful organization of the event: director Inna Maystrenko, heads Liana Oliinyk, Valeria Demydenko, employees Lyubov Kulkova, Volodymyr Tokar. We thank the parents of the participants for their interest, support, accompaniment and responsibility at the stage of preparation for the performance and the purchase of costumes. And of course, traditionally, we offer to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the festival by viewing a gallery of photos where emotions are captured, which, I am sure, will remain in the memory of young actors for life.
