З нагоди Дня Національної поліції України відзначив державними нагородами наших поліцейських та воїнів підрозділів поліції. Вже 11 років минуло від старту нової української поліції. І сьогодні, хоч і є ще чим посилити роботу Національної поліції, ми можемо бути вдячними тим фаховим людям, які служать в структурах Нацполу й захищають наших людей і правопорядок в Україні та саму Україну разом з іншими нашими складовими Сил оборони та безпеки України.

За 11 років ви пройшли шлях, який не можна оцінити лише календарно. Все вимірюється вашими діями та якостями. Хоробрістю, професійністю і вибором, який ми робимо у найважчі миті. Я вдячний усім українським поліцейським, які не пасують перед труднощами та викликами, які не залишають людей без захисту, і які знають, що люди хочуть довіряти поліції, і які роблять усе для того, щоб ця суспільна довіра до української поліції збільшувалася.

On the occasion of Ukraine’s National Police Day, I have presented state awards to our police officers and to warriors of police units. It has now been eleven years since the launch of Ukraine’s new police force. And today – although there is still room to strengthen the work of the National Police – we can be grateful to the professionals who serve within the National Police system, who protect our people, uphold the rule of law in Ukraine, and defend Ukraine itself, alongside other branches of our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine.

Over eleven years, you have traveled a path that cannot be measured by the calendar alone. Everything is measured by your actions and by your character – courage, professionalism, and the choices we make in our most difficult moments. I am grateful to all members of Ukraine’s police force who do not back down in the face of hardship and challenges, who never leave people without protection, who know that people want to trust their police, and who do their best to strengthen that public trust in the Ukrainian police.
