🌍 150 municipalities across Ukraine are already working on developing international partnerships together with experts from U-LEAD with Europe.

As part of the “Better with U-LEAD: International Municipal Partnerships” initiative, they are defining their priorities, assessing their strengths, building dedicated teams, and preparing to engage with international partners. These are the first steps towards building successful and sustainable municipal partnerships.

If your municipality is also ready to embark on this journey or wants to strengthen and systematize its existing international cooperation the online course “International Municipal Cooperation” by U-LEAD will provide the knowledge and practical tools needed to prepare for successful international partnerships.

The course covers:

✔️ opportunities for international cooperation to support municipal development
✔️ the legal framework for international municipal partnerships
✔️ assessing municipal resources and partnership potential
✔️ identifying and approaching potential international partners
✔️ the step-by-step process of establishing and formalizing international municipal partnerships

🕒 Duration: 5 academic hours

🎓 Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate.

👥 Target audience:
mayors, deputy mayors, local self-government officials responsible for international cooperation, investment, project management, education and culture, as well as representatives of municipal enterprises, institutions, and organisations.
