Зустрівся з Президентом Європейської ради Антоніу Коштою та Президенткою Європейської комісії Урсулою фон дер Ляєн. Вдячний ЄС за відкриття першого переговорного кластера для України та Молдови. Важливо й надалі просуватися в переговорному процесі за цим напрямом. Обговорили графік відкриття наступних п’яти кластерів і подальші кроки на шляху європейської інтеграції України.

Окрема увага – реалізації фінансового пакета підтримки та підготовці до надання першого траншу, посиленню санкцій проти Росії та дипломатичним зусиллям для досягнення миру. Поки Росія має намір продовжувати війну, треба посилювати протиповітряну оборону України та працювати над узгодженням гарантій безпеки для нашої країни.

I met with the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. I am grateful to the European Union for opening the first negotiation cluster for Ukraine and Moldova. It is important to keep advancing the negotiation process along this track. We discussed the timetable for opening the next five clusters and further steps on Ukraine’s path towards European integration.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the financial support package and preparations for the disbursement of the first tranche, strengthening sanctions against Russia, and diplomatic efforts to achieve peace. As long as Russia intends to continue the war, Ukraine’s air defense must be strengthened, and work must continue on aligning security guarantees for our country.
